Titan freshman was named the NJCAA Division I PING First Team All-American
Eastern Florida State College’s Jamie Smith was named to the NJCAA Division I PING First Team All-American by the GCAA. Smith won the individual title at districts and the Bantams Invitational, as well as the Seahawk Shootout, in the fall.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College men’s golf Jamie Smith earned a couple of honors after the NJCAA Division I National Tournament in Kansas.
The freshman was named the NJCAA Division I PING First Team All-American by the GCAA. Smith won the individual title at districts and the Bantams Invitational, as well as the Seahawk Shootout, in the fall.
He finished tied for 36th in the NJCAA Division I National Championships in Newton, Kansas.
Abe Bignell of McLennan, Charlie Preston of Indian Hills, Scott Spark of Midland, and Alexander Yap of Eastern Arizona also made the First Team.
Smith was also named to the GCAA All-Freshman team on Saturday.
Jules De Brauwere of Odessa, Michael Mayer of Weatherford, and Harry McArdle of Indian Hills joined Smith on the first team.
Miles Bollinger of Indian Hills has been named the recipient of the 2026 NJCAA Division I Phil Mickelson Outstanding Freshman Award.
