K-9 FOUNDATION RECOGNIZED BY CITY OF ROCKLEDGE FOR DONATING NEWEST POLICE K-9
The Space Coast Police K-9 Foundation was recognized by the City of Rockledge for donating the funds to purchase the newest addition to the Rockledge Police Department’s K-9 Unit. K-9 Rok, a 2-year-old German Shepherd-Malinois mix from the Slovak Republic, was purchased from High Drive K-9 in Greenville, South Carolina.
BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA — The Space Coast Police K-9 Foundation was recognized by the City of Rockledge for donating the funds to purchase the newest addition to the Rockledge Police Department’s K-9 Unit.
K-9 Rok, a 2-year-old German Shepherd-Malinois mix from the Slovak Republic, was purchased from High Drive K-9 in Greenville, South Carolina.
Rok is dual-certified in patrol and narcotics detection and is currently serving the citizens of Rockledge alongside his handler, Officer Amanda Duft.

“The donation reflects the Foundation’s ongoing mission to support law enforcement K-9 programs in and around the Space Coast by helping agencies acquire and maintain highly trained police dogs, specialized equipment, advanced training opportunities, and resources that enhance officer and K-9 safety,” said Yvonne Martinez, spokesperson for the Space Coast Police K-9 Foundation Inc.
“Police K-9s are invaluable partners that help protect our communities every day.”
Martinez said the Foundation is honored to support the Rockledge Police Department and proud to see K-9 Rok already making a difference alongside Officer Duft.
