BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Saint and I had a great time this morning as we helped kick off the annual Walk To End Alzheimers event in historic Cocoa Village.
Of course, no event would be complete without our annual “us-ie” photo of the entire group that has become our tradition every year before the walkers head out to the course.
It was incredible to see so many of our amazing citizens coming together to support such an important cause as we all work together to find the cure.
Events like this are a perfect example of what I always say…it takes a community to protect a community!! And speaking of showing up…Saint apparently decided that “helping kick off the walk” meant he was supposed to speak at the podium, so he stood up like he was ready to take over the entire event.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated, organized, volunteered, donated, and helped make today such a wonderful event.
Together, we can and will make a difference in the fight to end Alzheimer’s and one day together we will celebrate a cure.
