Palm Bay’s Splashes & Sparks Independence Celebration

BREVARD COUNTY PALM BAY, FLORIDA — The City of Palm Bay will hold its annual Splashes & Sparks Independence Day Celebration, sponsored by Health First Health Plans, on Thursday, July 4th beginning at 5 p.m. at the Brevard Community College Palm Bay Campus Fairgrounds.

“We’re gearing up for the biggest Independence Day Celebration on the Space Coast,” said Heidi Lapin, Director of Parks and Recreation.  “We’ve got music, food, fun and fireworks!”

Thousands are expected for the annual event which begins at 5pm with LIVE music, along with musical performances by Palm Bay’s Idol Competition winners.

Sponsor 98.5 ‘The Beach’ Prize Patrol will be live on location starting at 7pm.

For children there will be a special Independence Day Bike Parade where they are encouraged to decorate their bikes in the “Red, White and Blue” spirit of the holiday.

The evening concludes with a spectacular fireworks display starting at 9:15 p.m. The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and bug repellant.

“We promise the most fun on the 4th of July will be right here in Palm Bay,” Lapin said.

The event is sponsored by Health First Health Plans, Zambelli Fireworks, Brevard Community College, and 98.5 The Beach.
