Thousands of dollars were raised for the Epilepsy Association of Central Florida, as well as raising awareness of seizure disorders and the steps to bringing relief to families affected by epilepsy.

And much fun was had by all, as they enjoyed food, drink, games, giveaways, silent auction, petting zoo, and live music.

Now in it’s 5th year, the proceeds of this annual event serve to offer care to families that otherwise could not afford it, to receive EEGs, MRIs, to see a neurologist, to help get medications, and to finance research to seek cures.

The Epilepsy Association of Central Florida is a 52 year local organization that was started by a mother in her kitchen.

It’s grown now into an organization with several offices providing medical services to those who can’t afford it elsewhere, scholarships to further the education of individuals who have epilepsy or who are affected by it, and many other activities.
