Titusville Detectives Arrest Man In Local Mosque Vandalism, Charged With Third Degree Felony

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police Detectives have made an arrest in connection with the January 1 vandalism of The Islamic Society of Central Florida Masjid Al-Munin Mosque, located at 1011 South Washington Avenue.

Michael Scott Wolfe, 35, of Titusville, was arrested about 6 p.m. Monday in Titusville and charged with Criminal Mischief to a Mosque, which is a third degree felony.

According to the Titusville police, the evidence revealed Wolfe entered into the mosque carport at 11 p.m. January 1, destroyed property with a machete and placed raw bacon in and around the front door.

Wolfe was transported to the Brevard County Jail and is expected to appear before a judge on Tuesday.
