TITUSVILLE POLICE: Vandals Leave Bacon At Front Door of Masjid Al-Munin Mosque

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Titusville police responded to a report of a burglary at The Islamic Society of Central Florida Masjid Al-Munin Mosque, located at 1011 South Washington Avenue last Saturday at 6:13 a.m.
According to Amy Matthews of the Titusville Police Department, surveillance footage showed an unidentified male entered the mosque carport at around 11 p.m. last Friday night. The suspect then pulled a machete from a bag and used it to cause the damage to the mosque.
“Officers responded to the scene and the preliminary investigation reveals the mosque was vandalized,” said Matthews.
“Several cameras, lights and windows were broken. Bacon was also left by the front door of the mosque.”
Titusville Police Detectives are analyzing the surveillance footage as well as investigating strong leads in this case.
