Eastern Florida State College Women’s Golf Team Leads Pfeiffer Spring Invite

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s golf team is leading the Pfeiffer Spring Invite heading into the final round on Tuesday morning in Sunset Beach, North Carolina.

The Titans shot a 304 in the first round and lead Christopher Newport and Virginia Wesleyan at The Big Cats Golf Club of Ocean Ridge Plantation.

Ann Burel is tied for second place after shooting a 75 while Vivian Luu and Mila Tang each shot 76 and are tied for fifth overall. Blair Powers shot a 77 while Konstanze Anglett finished with an 80.

“Awesome job by Vivian but too many missed opportunities,” Eastern Florida State College women’s golf coach Jamie Howell said. “We need to do a better job taking advantage of par 5s and birdie opportunities.”

Virginia Wesleyan’s Juliette Coffey leads the tournament after shooting a 1-over 73.

The final round of the tournament took place on Tuesday morning.
