UPDATE: Cocoa Man Killed, Woman Injured In Deadly Crash Wednesday Morning

66-year-old Cocoa Man Dies
BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol responded to a single-car crash Wednesday morning at around 10 a.m. in Cocoa near Grissom Pkwy and Camp Rd., according to Sgt. Kim Montes of the Florida Highway Patrol.
A man and woman were transported to the hospital, however the 66-year-old man, later identified as the driver, died at the hospital as a result of his injuries.
The woman and passenger in the vehicle is identified by Florida Highway Patrol as 31-year-old Amber McGreevy from Deland, Florida. She was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and is expected recover.
According to the FHP report, the 2007 GMC pickup truck was speeding south on Grissom Pkwy. when the driver lost control of the vehicle, for an unknown reason, and flipped the truck.
Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
The man’s identity will be released, once the next of kin is notified.
