BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – After graduating from Stetson University College of Law, Jennifer Collins Mostert moved to Brevard County and began her law career as a prosecutor at the Office of the State Attorney in 1996.

First assigned as a trial attorney in the misdemeanor division, she handled all types of cases, including domestic violence and DUI cases.

Mostert moved up the ranks through various felony divisions, where she honed her trial skills handling more complex and challenging criminal cases.

Through various promotions, she worked in the felony intake unit, sex crimes and child abuse unit, as well as the gun crimes unit. Mostert was promoted to felony division chief where she handled homicide prosecutions, and was responsible for supervising junior attorneys.

She has worked closely with local agencies including the various police departments, advocacy groups, and the Florida Department of Children and Families.

She now utilizes that knowledge and experience to represent clients as they navigate the family court, dependency court, criminal court and federal court systems.
