A 31-year-old woman with a medical issue was evacuated by the U.S. Coast Guard from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship Monday afternoon at about at 4:25 p.m. Royal Caribbean’s Majesty of the Seas was about five miles off Port Canaveral when the crew summoned the assistance of the Coast Guard, who arrived in a response vessel. BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – A 31-year-old woman with a medical issue was evacuated by the U.S. Coast Guard from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship Monday afternoon at about at 4:25 p.m.

Royal Caribbean’s Majesty of the Seas was about five miles off Port Canaveral when the crew summoned the assistance of the Coast Guard, who arrived in a response vessel.

Coast Guard personnel transported the patient from the ship to Jetty Park and she was then transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, where she is in stable condition.
