BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA– In January, Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of two burglaries that had occurred at separate residences in the Melbourne Beach area.

In both burglaries, the suspects stole jewelry, perfume, electronics, and cash. In addition, Deputies believed the same suspects may have also committed a residential burglary in the area of Indialantic that was similar in nature.

After compiling video surveillance images, BCSO Agents attempted to identify the suspects and were subsequently assisted in the investigation by a Detective from the Delray Beach Police Department who was able to identify one of the suspects as Armando Hernandez Perez.

Perez, who also has an active warrant for an unrelated Occupied Residential Burglary was then positively identified as the suspect in the Brevard County cases, after Agents from our South Precinct General Crimes Unit interviewed a former employer of the suspect along with Detectives from the Boca Raton Police Department.
