BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue crews responded to a fire on the rear of a flatbed trailer hauling wood on Wednesday early morning.

According to Brevard County Fire Rescue, the incident occurred in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 at Mile Marker 184-185 in Melbourne.

This is the second tractor-trailer fire in approximately 13 hours as Brevard County Fire Rescue units, with the assistance of Cocoa Fire Rescue, were the on the scene of a  flatbed trailer on fire that was hauling scrap vehicles about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
