BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA– The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office along with Cocoa Beach Police Department, Melbourne Police Department, Cocoa Police Department, Titusville Police Department and Rockledge Police Department held the 4th Annual “Reverse Christmas Parade” in various locations throughout Brevard County.

The “Reverse Christmas Parade” was held on Thursday to help obtain donations of unwrapped Christmas Toys that are given to kids in need during the Christmas Season.

This year’s event collected hundreds of toys from local businesses and citizens that lined the streets waiting for the parade to travel by so they could do their part to help those that are less fortunate.

Thursday’s effort is another great example of how well our citizens and Law Enforcement Officers have partnered together to make Brevard County such an awesome place to call home.

I would like to personally thank all of the businesses and citizens who came out to support the event, and all of the Law Enforcement Agencies and volunteers who helped make the event such a tremendous success.
