BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue extinguished a trash fire Wednesday after a Waste Management truck driver dumped the heated load on the street.
Characterized by BCFR as a “rookie mistake’ on their Twitter account, the fire was contained to the large load of trash.
The incident occurred around lunchtime on Wednesday on Pacer Lane in West Cocoa.
Brevard County Fire Rescue Engine 44 responded from the King Street Station house and quickly put out the fire.
No injuries were reported and no word was given as to when the trash would be removed from the street.
