BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue Units responded to a single-vehicle fatal crash on Interstate 95 at mile marker 197 in Rockledge Sunday morning at 8:48 a.m.

Brevard County Fire Rescue units on the scene include HazMat and heavy rescue as crews worked on a heavy entrapment.

According to Florida Highway Patrol Public Affairs Officer Lt. Kim Montes, a 40-year-old Titusville man driving a pickup truck was traveling northbound on I-95, and for an unknown reason, traveled off of the roadway and onto the right shoulder and overturned.

Lt. Montes said the driver was pronounced dead on the scene.

Authorities have not identified the victim and the crash remains under investigation.
