Multiple Fire Departments Help Extinguish Blaze at Recycling Plant in Rockledge, Over Two Dozen Scrap Vehicles Catch Fire

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue crews responded to a fire at recycling plant Trade Mark Recycling in Rockledge on Tuesday that involved over two dozen scrap vehicles catching fire.

Firefighters were able to eventually extinguish the blaze but multiple units from BCFR, Rockledge Fire Department and Melbourne Fire Department were needed to help put out the fire.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

Trade Mark Recycling is located on 400 block of Ansin Road in South Rockledge.

The fire happened around 7 p.m.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
