SPACE COAST SEAFOOD FESTIVAL TO PROVIDE FUN FOR ALL THE FAMILY

BREVARD COUNTY, VIERA, FLORIDA (Feb 12,2012)- More than 200 thrill rides, seafood stands, amusement games, exhibits, and free shows will be included in the Brighthouse Networks Space Coast Seafood Festival in Brevard County.
The festival will run for 11 days, April 19-29, at the 20-acre fairgrounds next to Space Coast Stadium in Viera, Florida.
“The Washington Nationals and Brevard County Manatees baseball clubs have graciously allowed the festival to use the 20-care fairgrounds next to Space Coast Stadium,” Brevard Productions Ed Pierce said.
“Expected to be one of the top events in Brevard County, the festival will welcome thousands of visitors to Viera and the whole community is very grateful to the Washington Nationals and to the Manatees for making this great location available for the seafood festival.” said Pierce.
Sponsored by Bright House Networks and Savings Safari, the Space Coast Seafood Festival kicks off Thursday, April 19 with a SpaceCoastDaily.com Grand Opening, offering free entertainment, a free concert and free unlimited rides from open to close for only $10 admission.
The festival will be open from 5pm until 11pm on weekdays and from 12pm to 12am on Saturdays & Sundays.
Like the Space Coast State Fair at the same location, the seafood festival will also feature FREE UNLIMITED STATE FAIR RIDES and FREE SHOWS with fair admission throughout the 11 day run.
The fair admission will be $10 from Monday through Thursday or $12 on Friday through Sunday.
The Festival will feature a variety of FREE exciting and thrilling entertainment including the Bull Riding Bash and Xtreme Motocross Stunt Show.
The Miller/Coors Seafood Pavilion will feature a wide variety of seafoods, BEERS and WINES and will be the site of many great musical entertainers during the festival at the Clam Jam Stage.
With such a great variety of highly talented performers on the Space Coast, there will be over 32 performances in the beer garden ranging from country to good old-fashioned rock n’ roll.
The community stage will feature all facets of local community entertainment.
The variety of seafood and fair foods is also a tremendous attraction to the seafood festival and fair.
The menu of delicious international and great seafoods that await guests range from fried shrimp to German bratwurst, from smoked salmon pinwheels to turkey legs and from Steamed Clams to Hot Roasted Corn.
Great desserts like key lime pie, strawberry shortcake, cotton candy and everyone’s favorite, “funnel cakes” will also be served.
Some of the exciting FREE shows are the EAST COAST XTREME MOTOCROSS STUNT SHOW. Each evening at 8pm on Thursday April 26, Friday April 27, Saturday April 28 and Sunday April 29, Seth Elliot and his world class motocross stunt riders will perform death-defying aerial stunts on their powerful stunt bikes.
In appreciation of all Brevard County, City and Government workers, admission into the festival for all those workers will be only $9 per person, with valid ID on Sunday, April 22.
THE SPACE COAST BULL RIDING BASH will take place on Saturday, April 28 at 8:00pm and again on Sunday Nov 29 at 4pm.
Over 30 professional bull riders will take on 30 of the meanest, baddest bulls this side of Wyoming.
