Deep Roots In the Community
From humble beginnings, Browning’s is an inspiring local success story that has withstood the test of time in competing with the “Big Box” pharmacies.
The pharmacy, originally located just 330 square-feet on Hickory Street in Melbourne, now encompasses more than 27,000 square feet – as well as a satellite location in Orlando. The Browning’s Team include 62 members, including Hunter’s brother, Kevin Browning.
The main office is located just two blocks from Holmes Regional Medical Center at 141. E. Hibiscus Blvd. Melbourne. This location includes the pharmacy; central billing; a health care store for home medical equipment and supplies; and diabetic shop and personal fitting rooms.
It also houses a rehabilitation center for the evaluation of patients who need custom rehabilitative equipment. Additionally, Browning’s provides private assessments and fittings in the home at customer request for no additional charge.
“In addition to our reputation for excellent service before, during, and after the sale, Browning’s is known throughout our service delivery area for assisting customers in finding specialized products and professional services,” said Hunter.
“Customer surveys consistently indicate that the Browning’s staff is considered friendly, courteous, professional and thorough. We recently were re-accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program.”
