Duran Golf Club To Host LDA Tour Event

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Duran Golf Club is hosting the next Long Drives of America Tour event, the Alligator Alley Shootout, on Friday and Saturday – May 4 – 5.
Duran Golf Club is the LDA’s second of seven stops on the tour. The Tour will bring some of the longest and most extreme professional drivers known to the game of golf, right here to the Space Coast.
• First round of qualifying for the long drive competition will begin on Friday, May 4th at 11:00 am at Duran’s driving range.
• The second round of qualifying will take place at 3:00 pm. “We are very excited to have the LDA Tour here and to host such a unique event here on the Space Coast,” says David Tomczak, General Manager.
• The event continues on Saturday, May 5 with the Long Drive Competition on the Range. Watch the professional drivers compete for the cash and title.
In addition, valuable points toward the season ending LDA Tour Championship and exemptions to World Finals in October are at stake.
This event is open to the public with hamburgers and hot dogs from the grill. Come by and watch the long drive professionals hit golf balls as far as the eye can see.
