Child Nearly Drowns In West Melbourne

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Rescue crews have rushed a 3-year-old child to the hospital after a near-drowning in West Melbourne.

Brevard County Fire Rescue crews were called to the scene this afternoon on Stockbridge Way in West Melbourne.

Rescue personnel transported the child to the hospital for emergency treatment after finding the child in some sort of water other than a pool.

Police said  the child was breathing and had a pulse when rescuers arrived on scene.
