Scrimmages Wrap Up Prep Football Practice

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Spring prep football season is drawing to a close and for Brevard teams that have been practicing and running drills since May 1, this is the final week to make a big impression in the minds of coaches before summer.

Between now and Friday night, a total of 17 prep football teams will compete in spring scrimmage games, with seven of them played right here in Brevard County.

Four prep squads will compete in games outside of Brevard and another prep team — Melbourne Central Catholic — hosted a spring game last Saturday night.

Here’s a look at the remaining spring schedule for Brevard-area prep football teams:

THURSDAY MAY 24

6:30 p.m. Sebastian River at Treasure Coast

7 p.m. Florida Air Academy at Kissimmee Gateway

FRIDAY MAY 25

6 p.m. Holy Trinity at John Carroll

6:30 p.m. Titusville at Space Coast

7 p.m. Rockledge at Martin County

7 p.m. Satellite at Eau Gallie

7 p.m. Dr. Phillips at Cocoa

7 p.m. Astronaut at Melbourne

7 p.m. Cocoa Beach at Heritage

7 p.m. Palm Beach Seminole at Palm Bay

7 p.m. Merritt Island at Bayside

7:30 p.m. New Smyrna Beach at Viera
