Road Improvements Result In Intermittent Lane Closures

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Intermittent lane closures on Hollywood Boulevard between Frank Lane and U.S. Highway 192 in West Melbourne will continue for the next four weeks.
The closures are a result of intersection improvements that began in late May at Hollywood Boulevard and U.S. 192.
Traffic control signs have been installed to assist the motoring public and the public is advised to utilize the existing detour to minimize delays.
Public Works officials ask motorists to keep in mind that weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances could affect construction schedules.
The area is one of heavy traffic congestion near the Melbourne Square Mall and Barnes & Noble Booksellers on the border of West Melbourne and Melbourne.
