Cocoa Police Investigate Woman’s Homicide

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Homicide detectives are at the scene of an overnight shooting in Cocoa that took the life of a woman.

Cocoa Police sp0keswoman Barbara Matthews said April Williams of Cocoa, 29, was found shot to death early Sunday morning ouside her apartment at 1080 N. Fiske Boulevard.

Williams was walking home with another woman at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday when she was shot by an unknown assailant that was hiding in shubbery outside  Apartment C-4 of the Candlewood Apartment Complex.
