The credential is a national, accredited certification; highly regarded and held by the most professional wound care practitioners in the United States.

A multidisciplinary wound care certification, the WCC is only available to licensed wound care professionals from across the continuum and the certification is a professional recognition that only a small percentage of clinicians attain.

Joyner attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, before completing her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. She subsequently obtained a Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Graceland University in Independence, Mo.

She has more than 16 years of nursing experience with a background in multiple disciplines including nurse management, ambulatory care, critical care, endoscopies, cardiovascular care, endovascular management, wound care and breast cancer management.
