BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA VILLAGE, FLORIDA – Brevard insiders have long known where to find the best places in the county to spend the July 4th holiday.

For many residents, Independence Day would not be complete without an evening of listening to patriotic classics and then watching the fireworks at Cocoa Riverfront Park Park.

What has come to be known as the “Symphony Under the Stars” has become a Brevard tradition and this year is no exception.

Staged by the cities of Cocoa and Rockledge, guests who attend the annual event will be able to hear a free concert from the Brevard Symphony Orchestra as fireworks are launched over the Indian River.

Itb promises to be a fun-filled day for family and friends to enjoy events throughout the day and to salute America.

The concert starts at 8 p.m. with fireworks at 9:15 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and arrive early to find a spot.

Food and beverages will be available for sale at the park and admission is free.
