Potter finished the tour’s qualifying school tournament tied for ninth at six-under-par 210. He regrouped from a two-over 74 in round one by shooting a five-under 67 in round two and a three-under 69 in round three.

As Potter and the other 63 golfers who made the cut awaited the start of the fourth round on Friday, tournament officials decided to cancel the final 18 holes due to inclement weather.

“This is a great accomplishment for Zach,” FIT head coach Chris Saltmarsh said.
