BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Teams from across the Space Coast and Sebastian kicked off the youth football season Saturday and based upon early play, this is going to be a historic year for the Brevard County Youth Football and Cheerleading Association.

Bayside emerged from rainy conditions to win hard-fought victories from the visiting Melbourne Bulldawgs in Pee Wees and Juniors division games Saturday at Bayside  High School, while the Titusville Terriers came away with wins in Rookies, Pee Wees and Seniors division games against Suntree/Viera.

The Suntree/Viera Lightning Bantams squad knocked off Titusville and the Rockledge Raiders defeated Palm Bay in another Bantams division matchup.
