Yvonne-Marie Deese Dies At 60

OBITUARY
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Yvonne-Marie Deese, 60, departed this life for her eternal home in heaven on Friday September 7, 2012. She was the widow of Jeffrey David Knowlton, married for 34 years and was preceded in death by her parents James Henry and Mary Catherine Boyle Deese.
Yvonne-Marie was born August 8, 1952 in Melbourne, FL and was the third daughter of James H. and Mary C. Deese. As the fifth child in a family of ten children, Yvonne-Marie selflessly helped her mother care for her brothers and sisters.

She attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School and Melbourne Central Catholic High School. She graduated from Spring Hill College with a degree in Philosophy and Music and completed graduate work at Georgetown University. For many years she worked as a law office manager, paralegal, expert legal consultant, and title-closer. Her legal knowledge and expertise remain well respected in the community.
Yvonne-Marie was and is a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to all. She is remembered as a beautiful, wonderful, and loving mother, sister, and caregiver for her family and friends. She lived a life of hope and trust, joy and love. She loved her children and cared deeply for her family with her gracious and elegant ways and genuine sense of humor.
Yvonne-Marie became the immediate caregiver for her parents and her husband’s parents throughout their later years while she continued to raise her family. She lived an example of Christian charity and faithful perseverance and was loved by everyone she knew.
Yvonne-Marie is survived by her three children; Jamieson Clark Knowlton of Orlando, FL, Jeffrey David Knowlton II of Pembroke, NC, and Jennifer Regina-Marie Knowlton, MD of Greenville, NC and her husband T. Everett Reynolds. Yvonne-Marie is survived by her brothers and sisters; Mairona Deese-Barry, Sara Deese- Becht, PhD and husband Paul Becht, PhD, James H. Deese II, William Deese and wife Christine, Patrick J. Deese, Thomas M. Deese, Lawrence E. Deese, MD and wife Melody, and Mary W. Deese. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Friday September 14 at 11:00 am. Burial services will take place in Savannah, GA at Bonaventure Cemetery on September 17.
Yvonne-Marie Deese graciously cared for all those around her and loved without end. She will be missed every second of every day.
