Established by Glenn Carmichael, Glenn’s has provided tire and full auto servicing for private and commercial customers since 1952.

At the event, Glenn’s will give away a full set of Michelin Defender Tires to a lucky winner along with redeemable coupons for “50s prices” on oil changes and select auto services. Participants also can expect music, refreshments and a special appearance by the famed BIGFOOT monster truck.

“We welcome the community to our facility to share some of the changes we’ve made and enjoy great entertainment and promotions,” said Randy Carmichael, owner of Glenn’s Tire & Service. “My father, Glenn Carmichael, founded Glenn’s in 1952 under a customer-centered vision. We’ve worked to honor that vision over the last 60 years and look forward to celebrating with our guests as our third generation, Sean and Scott take the reigns.”

Since 1952, Glenn’s Tire & Service Company has provided quality service for automobiles, recreational vehicles and commercial fleet vehicles. The company offers tires by MICHELIN®, Bridgestone, Firestone, Goodyear and many others. Mechanical repair and general maintenance services include brake repair, wheel alignment, factory-scheduled maintenance, tune-ups, and engine repair services for all vehicles up to one-ton. Heavy truck wheel alignment, suspension repair, and DOT inspections are also available.

The 60th Anniversary will take place from 4  to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19 at Glenn’s Tire and Service, 2726 S. Harbor City Blvd. in Melbourne. The event is free and open to the public.
