‘Movies In the Park’ Visits Palm Bay Today

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – For the first time, Palm Bay residents will be able to experience a free showing of a film outdoors on Friday.

Brevard Parks and Recreation will present the free film “Despicable Me” at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12 at Palm Bay Regional Park in Palm Bay. (Shutterstock image)

The Brevard County Parks and Recreation Department’s “Movies in the Park” series will show “Despicable Me” tonight in the soccer area at Palm Bay Regional Park at 1951 Malabar Road NW in Palm Bay.

The movie is rated PG and will begin at 7 p.m. There will also be live music and fun for the kids beginning at 6:30 p.m.

“Despicable Me” is brought to you by Brevard County Parks and Recreation and Bay West Church.

This event is for all ages and admission is free. Patrons are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, food, and drinks to enjoy during the movie.

Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.  Concessions will be available for purchase.
