BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Port Canaveral continued its community outreach efforts by sharing updates on the port’s growth, future projects and regional impact during a recent Accelerate Brevard: Chamber of Innovation networking lunch at Fishlips Waterfront Bar & Grill in The Cove at Port Canaveral.

Tom Self, Port Canaveral’s Director of Stakeholder Relations, served as the featured speaker for the event, providing attendees with an overview of the port’s rich history and its evolution into one of the nation’s busiest and most dynamic seaports.

During his presentation, Self highlighted ongoing and future development projects at Port Canaveral, discussed the port’s role as a major economic engine for Brevard County and Central Florida, and outlined various community engagement initiatives aimed at strengthening relationships throughout the region.

The presentation concluded with a question-and-answer session, giving business leaders and community members an opportunity to learn more about the port’s operations, strategic priorities and vision for the future.
