This endorsement comes on the heels of an endorsement by the Brevard County Professional Firefighters organization, which offered their support to Pishgar’s bid to unseat incumbent County Commissioner Trudie Infantini last week. \

These advocates for strong public safety in Brevard have come down strongly in Pishgar’s corner.

“Joe is exactly what law enforcement needs. He is exactly the kind of public servant who will make everyone proud and will work his tail off day in and day out. That is what we ask for,” said Mike Scudiero, representing the Coastal Florida Police Benevolent Association.

“We look for candidates who we know will stand up and actually believe in the work these men and women do every day and that is Joe Pishgar top to bottom.”

Scudiero also expressed his opinion of Pishgar’s opponent, saying “The alternative, Trudie Infantini, is something we would rather not revisit for another four years.”

Pishgar emphasized his commitment to job growth in Brevard County as the driving force behind his goal of responsibly funding of essential county services.

“This campaign has always been about creating an environment in which we can attract businesses to invest in Brevard and bring new, high-tech jobs back to the Space Coast,” Pishgar said.

“It’s essential that we have leadership on the County Commission that is fully dedicated to protecting our quality of life and keeping our communities safe if we’re going to create that environment.”

Pishgar also indicated that his broad base of support from organizations representing businesses, working families, and public safety alike demonstrates his ability to be an effective Commissioner for District 3.

“Brevard needs a leader who can step up and build partnerships to get things done for folks in the District,” Pishgar remarked. “Our commissioner has to represent all citizens, not just a vocal few.”

The unprecedented level of support that challenger Pishgar’s campaign has gotten is underscored by Pishgar’s fundraising success.

Pishgar’s campaign outraised its incumbent opponent’s campaign by a margin of greater than 10:1 during the most recent financial reporting period.

Since redistricting, District 3 has become a very competitive district, consisting of a near 50/50 split between registered Republican and Democratic voters.

The race for District 3 promises to be one of the most competitive County Commission contests in years.
