Our Annual Board Installation and Impact Awards Banquet introduces the Chamber’s Board of Directors and recognizes local businesses for their profound impact on the business community.
Port Canaveral, the fastest-growing cruise port in Florida, as well as the
Runaway Country music festival, now in its 3rd year of providing great entertainment and attracting visitors to the area, will receive the Melbourne Regional Chamber’s top business award.
Also being honored are Sorensen – Allied Moving & Storage with the Grow Local Award, Taste of Thai Land and Sea Thai Fusion with the Small Business Award, Creative Events – Jenny McClure with CVB Member of the Year, Glenn’s Tire and Service Company with Better Business of the Year, and Alice Davenport of AAR with the Volunteer of the Year.
On display for the night will be the Tico Belle WWII C-47 cargo/transport plane which is being flown to the hangar area by the Valiant Air Command/War Bird Museum in Titusville.
The theme is in keeping with the passion for aviation expressed by the chamber’s incoming chairman Jack Ryals of National Realty, who earned his pilot’s license from FIT Aviation, and is the Chamber’s representative to the Airport Authority board.
