Panthers Open New Season On Saturday

BREVARD COUNTY • SUNTREE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech Head Tennis Coach Bill Macom has announced that the Florida Tech tennis program will host clinics and doubles round-robin play at the Suntree Country Club.

The event will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Panthers tennis programs.

The Suntree Country Club is requesting that each participant donate at least $25 to take part in either the skill clinics and/or round-robin play.

The fundraiser is open to the public.

The FIT men’s and women’s tennis teams will conduct skills clinics and lead round-robin play on several different courts simultaneously.

Macom encourages the public to come out and meet the Panther teams while enjoying some tennis at the fundraiser.

The Panther men’s and women’s tennis teams begin their season Saturday, Feb. 2 in Melbourne at the Fee Avenue Courts. The women’s team will take on No. 5 Barry at noon, and the men’s team will take on No. 4 Barry at 2 p.m.
