Youth Programs Highlight Service Opportunities In June

Brevard County Ag TO OFFER CLASSES
ABOVE VIDEO: This is a 4-H Outdoor Technology program, it is a youth development program instructing specific subject matter topics to teach life skills in Brevard County.
BREVARD COUNTY, Florida — Brevard County Agriculture and Extension Service and the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences will offer the following classes in June at the Cocoa Extension office, 3695 Lake Drive.
CAREERS & LIFE UNDER EXPLORATION
Youth will learn about career activities once they are hired on as a horticulturist, marine scientist, chef, or farmer for this summer program. Classes are 5:30-7 p.m. June 3, 5, 10, 12, 24, and 26. Open to youth entering 2nd through 6th grades. Please pre-register at 4hclue2013.eventbrite.com. Cost: $30.
BOB EVANS 4-H DAY

SATELLITE BEACH 4-H JUNIOR MASTER GARDENER PROGRAM
3-4:30 p.m., June 6 through Aug. 1. Meets every Thursday for elementary age youth. Youth will participate in a summer gardening program and learn about plants, how to garden, insects, soil science, etc. Please pre-register at 4hjmgbrevard.eventbrite.com. Cost is $10.
CAMP OCALA
