Cocoa Police Seek 7-11 Store Armed Robbery Suspect

SUSPECT IS 'ARMED & DANGEROUS'

The suspect is described as a black male, early 20’s, clean shaven, 5’10 to 6’2” tall, weighing between 170 to 185 pounds. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a black hat with orange lettering and a blue athletic t-shirt with a black long sleeve shirt underneath. A witness observed a dark in colored four-door sedan possibly, a Ford Taurus or Ford 500, leaving the area. The vehicle had dark tinted windows. BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The 7-Eleven convenience store at 947 Dixon Boulevard was robbed at gunpoint yesterday morning at about 6 a.m. by a black male in his early 20’s, according to the Cocoa Police Department.

COCOAPOLICELOGO-200The unidentified suspect entered the store and acted as though he was going to purchase a beverage at the counter.

During the transaction, the suspect stated, “this is a robbery and give me everything in the drawer,” as he displayed a silver handgun from his waistband to the employee, according to the Cocoa Police Department.

The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash and no employees were hurt.
