Chris Reynolds received the surprise of his lifetime when he opened his PayPal account, today. When the Pennsylvania public relations executive checked his PayPal balance, he saw a remarkable figure next to the balance line: $92,233,720,368,547,800.

According to Reynolds, he was immediately skeptical of the amount but decided to post the image on his Facebook page. After Philadelphia Daily News featured Reynold’s story on its front page, PayPal contacted Reynolds, and within minutes, his balance was returned to $0.

Friends quickly chimed in. Though there was a minus sign in front of the sum, one friend said the balance was, in fact, positive.

“I’m a very responsible guy,” Reynolds told the Philadelphia Daily News. “I would pay the national debt down first. Then I would buy the Phillies, if I could get a great price.”
