Melbourne Police Make Prostitution Arrests

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – In continuing efforts to target known prostitutes within the City of Melbourne, the Melbourne Police Department Special Operations Unit conducted a prostitution detail within the city.

According to the Melbourne Police Department, there were a total of three arrests in the south end of the city around the U.S. 1 corridor.

Following are those arrested and the accompanying charges. All three have prior convictions and two have enough to make today’s arrest a felony.

Arrested were Jessica Etheridge, 32, charged with Solicitation to Commit Prostitution; Shannon Lee Ballard, 26, charged with Solicitation to Commit Prostitution (Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; and Nicole L. Bombriant, 38, charged with Solicitation to Commit Prostitution (Felony).
