Investigators Believe They Have Identified Main Suspect

Melbourne Police Arrested 30 year old Ivan Greene (pictured above) for conspiracy to commit murder. Investigators believe they have also identified the main  shooting suspect whose name is not being released at this time. This incident remains under  investigation.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — At approximately 7:41 p.m. on Monday, Melbourne police received a call of shots fired in the area of 519 Reddick St., where Ivan Greene was eventually arrested for conspiracy to commit murder.

According to Melbourne Police Pete Mercaldo, the victims, one male and one female, were treated at the scene and transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center. Both victims are expected to survive their injuries.

During the course of the investigation, probable cause was established to arrest Greene for conspiracy to commit murder. Investigators believe they have also identified the main shooting suspect whose name is not being released at this time. This incident remains under investigation.
