Palm Bay Police Arrest 33-Year-Old Man on Multiple Child Sex Offense Charges

The Palm Bay Police Department has arrested 33-year-old Dajaye Jenkins on multiple charges involving alleged sexual offenses against children.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Police Department has arrested 33-year-old Dajaye Jenkins on multiple charges involving alleged sexual offenses against children.

Jenkins was taken into custody by the department’s Crime Suppression Unit on August 18, 2026.

According to Palm Bay Police, Jenkins faces the following charges:

  • Sexual battery on a child under 12

  • Sexual battery on a child over 12 but under 16

  • Lewd or lascivious molestation on a child under 12

  • Lewd or lascivious molestation on a child over 12 but under 16

  • Lewd or lascivious exhibition

  • Contributing to the delinquency of a child

  • Child abuse

Police said Jenkins was also charged with child abuse in a separate case and battery involving domestic violence in another case.

Due to the disturbing and graphic nature of the allegations, authorities said they would not publicly release additional details about the cases on social media.

“Our community won’t tolerate crimes against our children,” the Palm Bay Police Department said. “Our Special Victims Unit investigates some of the most heinous crimes, and this is certainly one of them.”

The department emphasized its commitment to protecting children throughout Palm Bay and holding those accused of harming them accountable.

“The Palm Bay Police Department and the Palm Bay community will always protect our children,” police said. “If you think you’ll get away with these crimes, you won’t.”

Jenkins is being held at the Brevard County Jail Complex without bond.
