EFSC Graphic Designers Win Top Awards

Mitzi Smith, Mike Lally & Kelly LeMaster won Gold Awards

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Three Eastern Florida State College graphic designers have won top national honors for their work in the annual Collegiate Advertising Awards.

The awards recognize creative excellence and effectiveness in the fields of advertising, marketing and promotion in higher education. Mitzi Smith, Mike Lally and Kelly LeMaster won a Gold Award for their work in designing a folder for the college’s Student Recruitment Office. Lally also won a Silver Award for the Women’s National Soccer Championship Program, and Smith a Bronze Award for an Honors Program view book.

The three work in the Collegewide Printing & Graphic Services office led by Director JoAnn McClain-Noth. The office has played an important role in designing a wide range of new materials to support the college’s rebranding effort the past year as it changed its name from Brevard Community College to Eastern Florida State College.
