Prestwood, Ridenour Elected to Health First Board of Trustees

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Health First has announced that Alan Prestwood and Jim Ridenour have been elected to its Board of Trustees.
Their terms began January 1, 2014.

Prestwood currently serves as Senior Vice President of Investments with Wells Fargo Advisors in Melbourne.
A financial advisor since 1989, his practice focuses on financial planning and portfolio management prior to and during retirement. Prestwood is a former board member of the Brevard Cultural Alliance, the Masters Workshop and the Carriage Gate Neighborhood Association.
He currently serves on the Boards of the Brevard Neighborhood Development Coalition and the Evans Center. Prestwood is also vice president of the Hosts of Brevard and serves his church in the greeting ministry.
He earned his BS in Business and MBA from Florida Tech, where he now sits on the Board of Directors for the Alumni Association.
Ridenour currently serves as Dual General Manager for the Residence Inn by Marriott in Melbourne and the Courtyard by Marriott in West Melbourne. He joined Marriott International in 1993.
Ridenour served in the U.S. Air Force as Squadron Commander, Deputy Commander for Operations, Vice Wing Commander and Director of Command and Control Systems for Air Combat Command at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia.

He is the current Vice Chair for Advocacy of the Melbourne-Palm Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Chamber’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Ridenour is also on the boards for the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association and the Brevard County Economic Development Commission.
Ridenour is also a Medicare Representative on the Medical Practitioners for Affordable Care (MPAC) Board. Ridenour is a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, the Air Force Association and the Military Officers Association of America. He is a graduate of Ball State University, earned his MS from Central Michigan University and is a Distinguished Graduate of the U.S. Air Force Air War College.
