New Island Fitness Under Construction On Merritt Island

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Island Fitness, which has served Merritt Island for the past 11 years, announced the club will be moving in April into a new 8,000 square-foot facility located next to the Clarion Hotel on State Road 520.

“We are very excited to be able to offer our members this new facility that will include many new services and amenities,” said owner Linda Wardell.

The two-level layout gives the club a sleek modern look and will allow for a highly functional flow between the equipment and member traffic.  Among the new amenities are a swimming pool, tennis court and larger exercise room where classes of all type are offered daily.

TOP OF THE LINE EQUIPMENT, CERTIFIED TRAINERS

Strength and aerobic equipment consists of top of the line LifeFitness and Hammer Strength pieces, as well as a complete array of free weights, racks, benches and cable equipment.

“All of our associates are nationally certified, fully insured personal trainers,” said Wardell. “Your fitness needs and safety are always our first concern.”

Island Fitness offers several membership plans, including those that do not include a contract.

The Island Fitness staff is committed to helping you meet your goals, and Wardell said that as result, a high percentage of her business is from long term members and referrals.

“Our company is based on the belief that our members’ needs are of the utmost importance,” said Wardell.
