global supermodel scores yet another gig

ABOVE VIDEO: Clothing retailer Express has announced that 21-year-old supermodel Kate Upton will be their new brand spokeswoman.

Former Melbourne resident and global supermodel Kate Upton has scored yet another gig as the new spokesperson for Express, Inc., a fashion retailer for young women and men headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, and New York, New York.

Express operates over 600 stores in the United States and generates $1.8 billion in annual sales. She also represents shoe company Sam Edelman.

Upton, 21, first burst on the national scene as she was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated‘s 2012 and 2013 swimsuit issues – and is on her third consecutive Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover published earlier this year.

She has since become one of the most recognizable models in the world.  Upton grew up on the Space Coast in Melbourne – and she’s a former student at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy.
