Sheriff’s Agents Seek Identity of Battery Suspect

Suspect Broke Into Merritt Island Home, Attacked, Choked Female Victim
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office needs your help to identify a suspect who forced entry into a home on Monday and then attacked a female victim, hitting her and choking her until she lost consciousness.

The home invasion and attack occurred at 1155 North Courtenay Parkway in Merritt Island, according to Maj. Tod Goodyear of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
A composite sketch has been created of the suspect, and the Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into this Suspicious Incident / Burglary and and Aggravated Battery of a female victim.
The suspect is described as being 20 to 30 year of age, 5-foot-10 inches tall, 6-foot tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. The suspect has a goatee, and was wearing a blue shirt at the time of the attack.

According to Maj. Goodyear, investigators currently do not have a motive for the attack.
