Brevard’s Wyatt Werneth Talks Water Safety On ‘Today Show’

NEW YORK CITY – Brevard County’s Wyatt Werneth appeared on the Today Show this morning to discuss water safety skills with a national television audience.

Werneth’s experience is extensive as he has been the Ocean Rescue Chief for Brevard County Fire Rescue, a U.S. Navy diver, dock master, salvager, firefighter, U.S. Coast Guard petty officer and a security specialist fighting terrorism around the world.

Last May, Werneth was inducted into the Space Coast Sports Hall of Fame for his Guinness World Record setting performance for prone paddleboarding and ongoing efforts to raise the level of awareness of water safety.
