Ms. Cain is being recognized for providing lectures on patient safety topics twice annually at the foundation’s Expos.

The Expos are the main way the foundation raises funds to provide aid to disaster victims and scholarships to students pursing healthcare careers.

By providing lectures at these events, The Doctors Company has helped make these fundraising events a success. Physicians attending the lectures receive free CME.

Ms. Cain is one of 20 recipients of an Ambassador Award, which will be presented for the first time November 8 at the Ambassador Awards Dinner, held in conjunction with the Doctors’ Expo Health Fair and Health Insurance Expo at the Melbourne Hilton Rialto.
