BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Brevard Indo-American Medical & Dental Association presented their 12th Annual Medical Expo & CME Conference on November 22, featuring the organization’s medical trade show, CME educational program and evening gala at the Melbourne Rialto Hilton.

Dr. Jose L. Diaz-Gomez, Chair of Critical Care at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, delivered a presentation on “Critical Care with a Multi-Disciplinary Specialty Approach,” and Dr. Duff Sprawls of Space Coast Cancer Center presented an educational lecture on the treatment of anemia.
Dr. Giuseppe Morelli spoke on advances in the treatment of Hepatitis C.

“This year, BIMDA made remarkable changes and continues to grow by leaps and bounds.” said Dr. Ravi Shankar, BIMDA President.
“We have five interesting speakers at the CME conference, and our keynote speaker at the evening gala is Carol Craig, Founder of Craig Technologies. Ms. Craig’s career inspires all of us. BIMDA continues to grow not only in cultural events, but in promotion of CME education,” said Shankar.
Shankar thanked the major sponsors, including Health First, Wuesthoff Medical Center and Parrish Medical Center.
