Sheriff’s Agents Bust Meth Lab In Mims, Seize Drugs

BREVARD COUNTY • MIMS, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office located and dismantled an active methamphetamine lab on Wednesday.

Agents were investigating stolen property at 3404 Turnbull in Mims, when they located the lab inside the residence.

After executing a search warrant, 32-year-old William Bruce Mohr was arrested and charged with the Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Listed Chemicals and two counts of Child Abuse.

Brevard County Fire Rescue responded to the residence and assisted the Sheriff’s Agents as the lab was dismantled and the hazardous waste was collected for disposal.

Two children were located in the house and examined by Fire Rescue Personnel. The children were later released to a relative. The Division of Children and Families was notified for follow-up investigation.

In addition to the equipment to manufacture methamphetamine, agents seized approximately 873 grams of methamphetamine.

Mohr was transported to the Brevard a County Jail Complex under a no bond status. The investigation regarding the possession of stolen property is ongoing.
